The evolution of Rihanna has been an interesting one, she went from sweet long haired Bajan girl, to a tough, edgy Pop and R&B sensation. And you know what? I love it! I have said it many times that the best thing that Rihanna has done for herself is get angry. I don’t really know what I like about her, I mean, she’s not the best singer, not the best dancer or performer. But the girl is a star. She works with what she has and works it well. her fashion, her edginess, her…Swagger (for lack of a better word).
You know what? SHE’S BACK. And tougher than ever. Her new album Rated – R hits shelves on November 23rd, I had a chance to listen to it, and it is very “bad-ass” the good girl certainly has gone bad! The one blatantly obvious example of this is that in the new album she swears! ahhh ! But I still like it. Some of the songs on the album in my opinion are not as good as others but that is understadable, it is very rare that everysong is a smash hit. Some of my faviourite ones are, Fire Bomb, Photographs ft. will.i.am, Cold Case Love, Te Amo and Hard.
When this album comes out I suggest that you tak a listen to it. It is an album not to be missed!

I, for one am patiently awaiting the release of Jay-Z’s alum The Blueprint 3 which is set to be released on September 11 2009, exactly eight years after the release of the original The Blueprint. On this album he is rumored to be working with MGMT, Drake, Rihanna, Kanye West, and Kid Cudi. Undoubtedly this album will be FIRE!
The second single off the album as just been released its called Run This Town and features Rihanna and Kanye West. It sounds amazing! Can’t wait for some new Rihanna stuff. Speaking of Rihanna, she was at the premiere of Inglorious Basterds in London and she looked superb as usual.

Lady GaGa, what the hell is on your head?!?
Okay, so I’m a fan of The GaGa but sometimes she just does some crazy ass sh!t. I mean look at this, SHE HAS A HAIR CONE! WHO DOES THAT?!? Don’t get me wrong, I think it looks okay…on her, and only on her. Is this the next Amy Winehouse beehive? I hope not. But I do think that The GaGa can pull this off because it’s just so fitting with her whole persona.To be honest I’m not shocked but I just think it’s just a little ridiculous. Am I wrong?

Rihanna, and her ever changing self has continued to amaze me over the past few years. May it be through her music, her relationships, her fashion sense and of course her hair, it is always something new with her. In her latest transformation she has changed her hair into a sky high (literally) doo, and to be totally honest…I’m kinda into it. I feel like she is one of the few people in the public eye that can get away with a style like this, or any of her past styles for that matter. In this image she is rocking a pair of shades that look very 50′s and a trench coat. Not to mention the snakes wrapped around her wrist and neck. Needless to say Rihanna is the one and only person that can pull of such funky styles and still look spectacular.
